Last year, I moved full time into pursuing my lifelong dream of renovating classic homes.  I was fortunate enough to have Tom Marchant sell my first house for me.

Tom is creative, innovative, and technologically savvy.  He continually works to evaluate the dynamics in the marketplace and provide excellent service.   He is aggressive in the use of progressive marketing tools and created the most beautiful, effective brochures I have seen.  He is open to my input.  Best yet, he consistently demonstrates integrity and truly cares about his community and the people he works with. 

My first home was a tough sell due to some unusual features.   Tom found the perfect buyer and brought me an excellent, reasonable offer.  He did the tough negotiating so I didn’t have to.   He continued to be supportive after the sale for both myself and the buyer. 

Tom is aggressive without being pushy.  He provides honest feedback, and truly listens to prospect needs, while still representing my interests.  He truly adds value to the process.  I recently listed my 2nd house with Tom.  I look forward to a long and mutually profitable relationship!

When my job moved me from Orlando to Greenville, I had many concerns.  As a first-time buyer, I didn’t know much about the process of buying a home.  Fortunately, a few people at my office recommended I contact Tom Marchant to buy my new home.  I say “Fortunately” because Tom made my home-buying experience easy and painless.

Being new to Greenville, living in a hotel room for a month, and with a wife and kids still in Orlando, shopping for a home wasn’t going to be easy!  Tom took me out and showed me 2 dozen homes in one weekend.  We THOUGHT we’d narrowed our search down to a few homes for my wife to see when she flew in, but when I sent her the listings online, she eliminated all but one.  So, Tom and I hit the road to search some more.  I can’t tell you how many places we saw, but one blended into the next by the time we were done.  Tom was as patient and understanding as can be. 

When my wife flew into town, Tom took as out yet again!  We had one morning to find a home, make an offer & negotiate a deal…Michelle was flying back home the following morning!  We finally decided on a home, and Tom went to work.  I don’t know how he did it, but Tom negotiated a FANTASTIC deal (below market value!) and had a contract signed just before we got to the airport.  It was an unbelievable, whirlwind few days, and we never could have gotten through it without the calm, professional assistance of Tom Marchant.  His knowledge of the area shortened our search dramatically.

We now live in Greer, in the perfect home for our family.  When we talk about the experience with friends and family, the conversation always ends with “…if you’re looking for a new home, you’ve got to talk to our real estate guy.”
